[-January.16th-2011 At Lee's Palace Show Review-]

[Heroic Entertainment Presents: "A Night At The Palace"]
[Intro]
Welcome to the the blog review of our show "A Night At The Palace" that took place on Sunday.January.16th-2011. It was a amazing show, and a great time. Every single artist was at their best. It was a pleasure meeting each and everyone of them, and i can't wait to have the pleasure of having them play another show for us.
We are proud to say that we raised a great amount of money for Sick Kids Childrens Hospital, and they were beyond thankful for it. We would like to thank each band for playing the show for a great cause, and each fan that braved the cold to come have a great night of live music at Lee's palace. All pictures featured in this blog of our performers are from the show itself, courtesy of Max Portughes(www.PixByMax.Com)

[The Performers]

Kevin Martins(8:00)
Starting off our Lee's Palace show in the 8:00 spot was acoustic singer/songwriter Kevin Martins. Kevin brought his strong vocals to us and did not disappoint. He kicked off the show exactly the way we had hoped, and got everybody in the right mood for a great night of music ahead.  He did more then just play great guitar, and sing amazing music, he also kept the crowd chuckling with his great sense of humour. We were very happy to have Kevin Martins open the show for us, and you will definitely be seeing him at another one of our shows in the very near future!!

Tallulah Darling(8:30)
Starting in the 8:30 spot was the all girl rock band Tallulah Darling, which consist of Elora Taylor on lead vocals/rhythm guitar, Dee Filc on bass/backing vocals, Alex Pearl on lead guitar, and for this show Brec filling in on drums as they look for a permanent female drummer. If you are a female drummer or know someone that is, follow the contact info below and give the girls a message. Tallulah Darling was lead by Elora Taylor's strong vocals, but you can't count out the catchy, up beat music put to her voice by Dee, Alex and Brec. Tallulah Darling played a fun, catchy set that wont be soon forgotten.

Killing Isaac(9:00)
Making there second appearance for Heroic Entertainment were the great guys of Killing Isaac. Joseph, Alex, Jason, Steven,  Robin returned after making there debut with us at our November.28th-2010 "Battle Against Cancer" show at the El Mocambo. Once again the guys put on an amazing show, and left everyone wanting more. The music was solid as usual, and the performance a grand one. One of the highlights of there set was lead singer Joseph Hero leaping up onto one of the window ledge's of the private rooms Lee's Palace has, which is over 8 ft. high. We love having these guys, and they always make it a good night. See you guys soon!!

Broken City Screams(9:30)
Bring in some hardcore to the show were the guys in Broken City Screams. Kyan, Jonny, Sean, and Ian. They brought a full and heavy set of hardcore rock. Each member had great stage presence, and it can be seen captured in virtually everyone of there photos. The guys will be at it again for us Sunday.February.6th-2011 at our "Showdown At The Rancho" show.

Dead Panorama(10:00)
Closing the show off in the 10:00PM spot were the trio, Brandon, Robert, and Adam of Dead Panorama. I would like to thank the guys for allowing each band to use there drum kit, as alot of bands are not always willing to do that. The show was able to go that much smoother, and all the set times stayed accurate due to this kind gesture. As soon as the music began from these 3 guys, you could tell they knew exactly what they were doing. A interesting sight to behold was when bassist Brandon Spray traded places with Drummer Robert Hyde and they performed a few songs like that. Just goes to prove how talented these guys really are!! We look forward to another show with them in the near future.
